Brief description of the project
The project is implemented as part of the call “Strengthening strategic partnerships for innovation in the process of industrial transition” funded by the “Integrated Territorial Program 2021-2027” program, which encourages structural changes in regional economies through the development of new products and services in niches with higher added value.
The ANG project is part of the strategic vision of MMM Agramservis aimed at creating sustainable and innovative solutions that connect technology and agriculture, with the aim of increasing efficiency and reducing negative environmental impacts.
The project includes the following activities:
a) Industrial research that includes investment in testing and experimentation infrastructure
b) Experimental development with the aim of reaching TRL 8 level of AGRIVOLTAICS systems and autonomous robotic vehicles.
c) Feasibility study preparation
d) Project management
e) Promotion and visibility
Project objectives and expected results
The project objective is to implement the assigned activities with the aim of developing two innovative products in the regional value chain Food and Agriculture, within the priority niche Smart Agriculture:
1. AGRIVOLTAICS system for the production and storage of electricity from a photovoltaic power plant with dual use of agricultural land,
2. Autonomous robotic vehicle for spraying and transporting fruits with optimized charging from the AGRIVOLTAICS system.
The development and combined application of the AGRIVOLTAICS system and autonomous robotic vehicles aims to create a holistic system that increases the productivity, efficiency and sustainability of agricultural production, offering innovative solutions to modern challenges in agriculture.
The purpose of the project is to improve the efficiency, productivity and sustainability of agricultural production by applying advanced technological solutions that enable optimal use of resources (land, energy, water, fertilizers and pesticides) and increase the resilience of agriculture to climate change.
The project contributes to the digital and energy transition through the development of innovations in the field of renewable energy sources and automation in agriculture, thereby solving key social challenges in Pannonian Croatia.
In addition to technological progress, the project aims to strengthen research and innovation capacities and increase the competitiveness of SPIN consortium members on the domestic and foreign markets, while creating the basis for new employment and business expansion.
The project thus contributes to the sustainable development and transformation of the regional economy through the synergy of economy and science, innovation of high-value-added products and the development of smart and resilient agriculture of the future.
